Overview

Bring your sense of adventure as you make your way to Tasmania's oldest National Park, Mt. Field, home to a few of Tasmania's "Great Short Walks". Throughout the day you will experience rainforests, waterfalls, wildlife - all in the most stunning scenery.

After a drive into the park, you will make your way to Tasmania's most beautiful waterfall - the tiered Russell Falls. The hike to the falls follows a quiet stream through the rainforest - setting a tranquil mood for the beauty about to be revealed! If you're feeling like putting in some extra effort, you'll be rewarded with enchanting views of Horseshoe falls after making the extra climb.

Further into the park, enjoy a second hike through a valley of Tasmanian giant trees known as the Tall Trees Track. These tall trees reach 265 feet - towering overhead and magnificent to walk among.

There's time to take a break where you can enjoy lunch in the park - a stop will be made in the morning so you can purchase something or bring your own.

On your return, enjoy a stop at Bonorong Wildlife Park providing the opportunity to get up close and personal with some of Tasmania's most infamous wildlife including Tasmanian Devils, wombats, and wallabies.

All in all this wilderness, waterfalls, and wildlife experience will showcase the best Tasmania has to offer!
