Overview
The tour begins with a visit to Monkey Home, where guests can interact with friendly squirrel monkeys in a safe and natural environment. Visitors will have the opportunity to feed the monkeys, take memorable photos, and enjoy a unique experience surrounded by beautiful tropical vegetation and local plantations.
Following the monkey experience, we continue with a guided city tour through the most iconic attractions of Puerto Plata. Guests will visit Central Park (Parque Central) and the historic San Felipe Cathedral, followed by a visit to the Amber Museum, where they can discover the fascinating history and natural treasures of the Dominican Republic. The tour also includes stops at a traditional Cigar Factory and Chocolate Factory, offering an authentic taste of local craftsmanship and culture.
The journey continues through the colorful Umbrella Street and Doña Blanca Pink Alley, two of Puerto Plata’s most picturesque locations and perfect spots for memorable photos. Guests will then visit the historic San Felipe Fortress, followed by a scenic drive along the Puerto Plata Malecón (Seafront Boulevard).
The tour concludes with a photo stop at the iconic Puerto Plata Sign and a visit to the Puerto Plata Viewpoint, where guests can enjoy beautiful panoramic views of the city and coastline.
