Get ready for a beautiful day ashore at Bacalar. Leaving the port behind, settle in to see the best of Costa Maya. Your first stop takes you to San Felipe Fort, a piece of the region's history is this wonderful Spanish fort, surrounded by water and a perfect spot to capture a memorable photo.
From there you will hop on a boat and your friendly crew take you on to discover the best of the area; expect stunning turquoise waters as you experience the Bacalar Lagoon. Well known for is crystal clear waters and your first stop takes you to the Cenote la Bruja, this cenote has wonderful underwater formations.
From there you sail into the Pirates Channel. The clue is in the name, but no pirates are expected! You will hear the stories of the historic battles and even buried treasure and imagine a pirate's life as you sail through this stunning waterway.
This tour visits the gentle shallows and is suitable for all swimming abilities and there is time to enjoy a stop or two for swimming, this is optional before heading towards Cenote Cocalitos. Here you learn about this natural attraction, and discover the beauty of this cenote, with its beautiful blue waters, so clear you can see the whitest sand at its base.
You may not want to leave but you will finish your boat ride and travel back to the cruise port with incredible memories of the mesmerizing cenotes, wonderful colors, and the natural beauty of the region.
