Cooking Class and Tequila Tasting

Join a group of folks all bent on seeing the best that Cozumel has to offer. Your tour will begin as you board your bus and head off for an exciting cooking class and tequila tasting!

Start this memorable experience on arrival to your venue, welcomed by your Master Chef and Sous Chefs. They will talk you through an authentic afternoon where you will learn how to make a 3-course Mexican meal!

Your expert Chef will guide you how to use the local ingredients and create a delicious Mexican meal. At each step, you will enjoy your demo and then apply the lessons personally to create an appetizer, main dish and dessert- after all you may want to recreate this when you get back home after your vacation!

This authentic experience introduces you to traditional methods and will deliver an appetizer of guacamole with pork rinds, a perfect combination to start.

A lesson in entrees brings you a traditional Mexican meal called the Huarache alambre.

This entree features a thick, corn masa base topped with a mixture of chicken, beef and shrimp, sautéed with bell peppers, onions, and melted cheese. Accompanied by a selection of tasty salsas!

And always there is a dessert! Enjoy caramelized plantains with cinnamon and sugar and drizzled with a chocolate and tequila sauce - delicious!

Your meal will be enjoyed in a lovely Mexican hacienda setting, where you can savor all the flavors of your cooking efforts. A wide range of beverages are available from bottled water, soft drinks, draft beer, house wine and coffee. Or you may enjoy a mixed drink such as margaritas, piña colada, rum punch or daiquiris.

Next, its time to enjoy an immersive tequila tour. Your tequila master guide will walk you through the art of tequila making, from agave to glass and discover their uniqueness - you'll be sure to enjoy your tasting!

            For vegetarians or those allergic to sea food, shrimp and fish the alternative menu is a Vegetarian huarache - a delicious meat-free version of the huarache, topped with sautéed mushrooms, bell peppers, and onions with sauces.
