Overview
Begin your day with an exhilarating boat trip through the sparkling blue waters of the Caribbean to the second-largest coral reef system in the world — the Mesoamerican Barrier Reef System. Your experienced guide will choose not one, but two terrific snorkel stops, brimming with undersea life.
These protected areas designated as the National Marine Park are home to an exotic array of fish and marine life, including starfish. You will be outfitted with great snorkel gear and if you are new to this sport, accept some instruction before getting into the water. The clear blue sea has been the highlight of many folks coming to see exactly what lives under the water's surface. You will have a guided snorkel tour with a certified guide who will help you identify much of what you see.
End your day with a a full buffet meal at a local Mexican restaurant. Sit back, relax and enjoy traditional cuisine, an open bar and a performance by local artists.
Lunch Menu: All-you-can-eat from one of four different regional dishes, in a served plate format. Lime soup (appetizer), Poc Chuc (pork steak) with refried beans, Chicken pibil with rice, Cochinita pibil (pulled pork in annatto sauce) with beans, “Tzic” de res (shredded beef with vegetables). Menu subject to change without notice.
A selection of alcoholic beverages such as rum punch, draft beer and margaritas are included and will be served after water activities and at the restaurant with lunch.
