Overview
Your guide will drive you through the bustling capital of George Town ready to discover the islands beautiful East side. Admire the coastal residential district of South Sound and the fabulous homes. You will arrive at Pedro St James or Pedro Castle as it's locally known! This refurbished plantation home will take you back in time, built in 1780 it is the birthplace of democracy and a national historic site it now boasts a multimedia theatre that presents the history of the island and the house itself.
From here you continue on to Queen Elizabeth II Botanic Park, home to the colorful Caymanian flora, alongside the now endangered Cayman parrots and many other native and migratory aquatic birds and animals. Enjoy a lovely stroll in nature as you walk through the natural wetland and explore the beautiful setting. The highlight may well be the endangered Cayman Blue Iguagas
Another incredible sight is arriving at the scenic area know for the blowholes, resulting from the seawater pushing through the openings on the rocks; it's quite a sight and not one to miss! Have your camera ready!
An island visit would not be complete without a Rum Cake Factory experience, discover all about this island delight and perhaps pick up a souvenir to take home.
You will return to your cruise port at the end of your tour.
