Imagine the thrill of playing with the dolphins!

Action and speed make this program the most popular, as it really lets you interact with these friendly marine mammals.
The program begins with a briefing about the dolphins and an explanation of the activities you will experience.
From your submerged platform in the water, you will be able to interact with the dolphins, including the very popular dolphin kiss photo.

Then, you will enter the water (life jackets required) for a speedy ride through the water for the dorsal tow as you hold on to their fins.

Next is the highlight of your time with the dolphins the foot push. Feel all their strength as they push you up and through the water by the bottom of your feet.

Truly the experience of a lifetime!



Each session is one hour, with 50 minutes of swim time. Group size is limited to ensure that you have a very personal experience.

Our professional photographers will capture these magical moments for you. Photo prices vary based on the package you purchase.



After your dolphin program, to extend your enjoyable day, a delicious lunch will be provided.

You will also have some time at their beach club with access to lounge chairs, showers, lockers and one of the most beautiful beaches in the world.

Special Instructions

  • excluded PLEASE NOTE: The location of this dolphin swim facility is in the Punta Maroma area and is appropriate for guests staying at hotels north of the city of Playa del Carmen and as far north as the Cancun airport. This includes properties such as the Royalton Riviera, Dreams Jade, Nickelodeon Resort, and Grand Velas.... If your hotel is south of the city of Playa Del Carmen, please look at the selection of excursions available from our RIVIERA MAYA page.
  • excluded You must bring your Venture Ashore prepaid voucher or you will not be allowed to participate in this program no exceptions.
  • excluded If you are staying at a hotel, transfers for participants cost $10 round trip.  Transfers for observers cost $15 per person round-trip transportation (approximate cost only). This fee is payable at the time of the transfer.
  • excluded There is no charge for observers to enter the park.
  • excluded Please bring a towel.
  • excluded Please check in 30 minutes prior to activity time.
  • excluded The Dolphin facility does not accept US cash in their restaurants, boutiques, and photo purchase stations. Bring Pesos or a Credit/Debit card to make any purchases.
  • excluded Children over 3.3ft and up to 3.9ft must be accompanied by two paying adults (2 adults per child).
  • excluded Children over 3.9ft up to 4.6ft must be accompanied by a paying adult (1 adult per child).
  • excluded Children over 4.6ft will be allowed to participate alone by paying the adult rate.
  • excluded Children under 3.3ft tall are considered infants and will do the Encounter program activities (kiss, hand target, and handshake) regardless of the program in which they participate. All infants must fit into the life vests required during the program.
  • excluded For the safety of the animals, please use only biodegradable sunblock.
  • excluded Jewelry, watches, rings, bracelets, or any object that might scratch the dolphins are not allowed.
  • excluded Non-swimmers are welcome. Each person is required to wear a life jacket.
  • excluded Pregnant women are not allowed to participate.
  • excluded Maximum of 20 people per time slot.
  • excluded Guests must follow the rules of the guides/instructors at all times.
  • excluded If you are physically or mentally challenged, please contact Venture Ashore prior to booking.
  • excluded For safety reasons, the use of cameras in the water is not allowed. Professional photos will be available for purchase.
  • excluded No outside food or beverages are allowed into the marina.
