Once you meet your group and guide, you'll board your air-conditioned tour vehicle and leave the cruise port behind.

Taking in the island scenery as you approach the must-see monkeys and sloth hangout. You will experience up close encounters with the adorable sloths, and monkeys. Other types of monkeys and tropical birds can also be viewed at the hangout. This is a magical place to get this close to the wildlife, you will not want to leave!

Making your way around the island, your guide will point out various attractions and give you a rundown on Roatan's history. There are multiple photo stops, including Panorama Hill, so make sure you have your camera to capture all the beauty around you. Other notable sights include shipwrecks and various villages, such as Coxen Hole. There is a quick stop to do some shopping; don't miss out on the local coffee and handcrafts!

Your tour includes a visit to the chocolate factory, discover locally grown natural and organic chocolate in an assortment of flavors.

After all that sightseeing, it's time to relax with a tour highlight visiting West Bay Beach. Your beach pass includes beach chairs where you can soak up the sun or perhaps you want to explore the beautiful waters. Whatever you decide to do it will be a perfect end to your memorable day ashore. You will be return to the cruise port at the end of your tour.

Monkey and sloth hangout experience is now a no-contact wildlife sanctuary experience. This important step, in partnership with the Honduran government, ensures ethical interactions and better protection for our wildlife. While touching is no longer allowed, you can still enjoy an incredible learning experience with these amazing animals.
