Your journey begins in Basseterre, the island’s charming capital. Drive through the city as your guide shares stories of its colonial past, with a visit to Independence Square, once home to the town’s former slave market. You’ll also make a brief stop at the Old Sugar Factory ruins, the site of the Caribbean’s first rum distillery.
Continue to the beautiful Romney Gardens, a lush, tropical paradise and a must-visit for photography lovers. Within the gardens, you’ll tour the renowned Caribelle Batik Studios, where local artisans demonstrate the ancient wax-resist dyeing technique. Next, relax under a majestic 400-year-old Saman tree at the Botanical Garden of Eden in Paradise, with time to browse the boutique gift shop for unique souvenirs.
The tour continues to Middle Island, home to the oldest Anglican Church in the Eastern Caribbean, before returning to the Basseterre area, passing luxury homes and a stunning 18-hole golf course.
