Welcome to one of the most exhilarating tours in St. Maarten – Maho Beach Plane Spotting Adventure. It’s definitely like no other. Get ready to be up close and personal with what you may ask. It’s probably one of the only beaches in the world that are so close to an international airport where beachgoers can be blown away by the jet blast of departing aircraft.
Flocking to see the planes, you will automatically become a guest of the Sunset Beach Bar & Grill, the liveliest bar on the island.
Every so often the tour climaxes with passenger jets and airplanes approaching breathtaking landings, just meters above the beach onto the nearby airport.
Just sit back, relax and enjoy the ultimate experience while on your visit to Philipsburg, that will blow your mind away – literally.
Itinerary (approx. times):
10am-10:20am - Scenic drive via Great Salt Pond, Philipsburg beach, Little bay hill
10:20am-10:25am - Photo Stop Cole Bay Hill
10:25am-10:45am - Approx. 20 Minutes - Scenic drive via the cosmopolitan town of Simpson Bay
10:45am-14:30am - Beach time, Plane spotting at Airport Beach
