Overview
Genoa, a place that holds a lot of history, but also is popular with the many wines produced. This wine tasting tour allows you to learn all about the wines from an expert Sommelier, who will share with you wine techniques on producing wine along with winemaking traditions.
You will make your own way to from your cruise port, either walking or a taxi, where you will meet you local guide for an immersive evening wine tasting experience!
Your expert Sommelier will introduce you to local wines of the region and share interesting information as you start your tastings.
There will be 4 different wine tastings, which will include red and white wine. This will be accompanied by traditional Genoa Focaccia bread, olives and grissini (a typical breadstick) - simply delicious!
This small group experience will be a maximum of 12 people.
There is an opportunity to buy the produce after the tasting if you wish, this would be payable locally.
At the end of your tasting tour, you will make your own way back to your cruise port, or if time permits, explore more of Genoa on your own.
