Overview
After meeting at the cruise port by a local representative, you will make your way to the Briksdal glacier which takes approximately 45 minutes. Here you will have 2 hours to explore the splendor and majesty of the glacier, at your own pace! The free time is yours to experience this beautiful destination on your own.
The Briksdal glacier is the most famous arm of the Jostendalsbreen glacier in the Fjordane county in Norway. It takes approximately 45 minutes to walk the 3km each way from the drop-off point to the viewpoint. Alternatively, you are able to get the world-famous troll cars (payable locally).
If you choose, you are able to walk up to the glacier edge and be close enough to feel the spray of the crystal clear waterfall on your face or witness the spectacular scenery whilst enjoying a beverage at the restaurant close by. This area boasts some of the most magnificent views, so please remember to bring your camera to capture the most incredible pictures! Truly a wonderful trip not to be missed when porting in Olden.
The entire trip will take a maximum of three and a half hours. You will then be returned back to the port in plenty of time for your cruise ships departure.
This tour does not include a guide, or the Troll Cars.
