Enjoy a fully narrated drive through Alaska’s first city enroute to a secluded lodge. You’ll then continue your day by comfortable jet boat as you cruise Inside Passage waters, home to abundant wildlife. As you sail, the experienced guide will point out an active eagle’s nest, and a U.S. naval submarine facility as well as the spectacular scenery.

Prepare for a thrilling water adventure as your captain navigates through bays and inlets. You will have the opportunity to see the abundant wildlife of southeast Alaska, such as eagles, porpoises, and seals. From May through September, whales are often sighted along the tour route.

Your final stop is Silverking Lodge where you will stroll through a lush rainforest, home to the largest known red cedar in the Tongass National Forest, and thick with a wide array of native plants. Silverking’s exclusive elevated boardwalk trail allows you to walk into the normally difficult to access rainforest. Discover its secrets like Old Man’s Beard and nursery trees. At the end of the stroll you’ll arrive at the family style dining room where you’ll sit down to a delectable seafood boilincluding Dungeness crab, shrimp, mussels, sausage, corn, garlic, pearl onions, and french bread. You’ll depart feeling like family after your day experiencing the best that Alaska has to offer!

• Check-In: All tours will meet at the Visitors Center if your ship is moored in downtown Ketchikan. For ships at Ward Cove, your tour will depart from there. Please arrive at least 15 minutes before tour’s scheduled start time. More information will be provided in confirmation email.

• Roundtrip transportation is included in tour price.

• Our seafood boil is prepared with clams, Dungeness crab, shrimp, mussels, sausage, corn on the cob, garlic, onions and potatoes. If you have an allergy to any of the seafood items, we can offer you a chicken kabob and the vegetables listed above.
