Overview

You will be met at the cruise port of Amsterdam by your driver guide.

The first stop of the tour will be a beautiful village of De Rijp, as we stroll through the village, it truly is a step back in time with beautifully preserved wooden houses, alongside the picturesque canal. Your guide will take you on a walking tour of this pretty village pointing out places of interest, such as the town hall. learn all about the Dutch Golden Age by your guide, whilst taking in the exquisite views.

We will then move on with the tour to Schermerhorn, home to three of the oldest and most beautiful traditional windmills, you cannot come to the Netherlands and not see this! Here we will be able to visit the Museum, which is included in the cost of the tour.

After the museum visit, the tour will continue to Den Oever, a fishing village, boasting magnificent sea views, we will stop for photo opportunities at Wadden Sea before going to lunch at a local famous restaurant in the area.

After lunch we will make our way to the historic town of Franeker, here we will have a guided walk through the town before visiting the Planetarium, a fascinating visit.

As the tour concludes, we will make our way back to the cruise port in plenty of time for our cruise ships departure.
