Overview
Discover Antoni Gaudí’s most colourful masterpiece without wasting time in the queue.
You meet at Ctra. del Carmel 23, on the Horta-Guinardó side of Park Güell, and head straight in through the priority access reserved for guided tours.
From there your guide will lead you down to the iconic Dragon Stairway, where Park Güell’s most famous resident, the El Drac salamander covered in mosaic trencadís, awaits the perfect photo.
You’ll explore the Hypostyle Hall, a forest of 86 Doric columns originally designed as the marketplace for the residential project Gaudí had in mind, with extraordinary ceiling medallions by Josep Maria Jujol. Above it, the Nature Square opens with sweeping views over Barcelona and the Mediterranean from the world famous undulating trencadís bench, the longest in the world.
The visit continues through the leaning stone porticoes, the colonnaded paths and the curving terraces that fuse architecture and nature in pure Gaudí style.
The tour ends at Carrer d’Olot 24, the park’s main entrance.
