Overview
Depart along the breathtaking French Riviera for an unforgettable journey combining history, culture, and glamour. Your first stop is the medieval village of Eze, located just beyond Nice and dramatically perched on a 400-meter cliff overlooking the Mediterranean. Often described as an “eagle’s nest,” Eze offers spectacular panoramic views stretching from Cap Roux to Pointe de Cabuel.
Stroll along narrow stone pathways smoothed by centuries of history as you make your way into the village. Along the route, admire beautifully landscaped gardens and scenic viewpoints near the renowned Chateau de la Chevre d’Or. During your visit, discover the art of French fragrance with a stop at the famous Fragonard Perfumery, where you’ll learn about traditional perfume-making techniques unique to the region.
Continue on to the Principality of Monaco, one of the world’s most exclusive destinations. Arrive at the historic Rock of Monaco to visit the Prince’s Palace, the official residence of the Grimaldi family since 1297. At 11:55 a.m., witness the ceremonial Changing of the Guard, a proud tradition set against stunning views of the Mediterranean Sea. Guests may choose to visit the interior of the Prince’s Palace (entrance fee applies).
Nearby, explore the Cathedral of Our Lady Immaculate, a Romanesque-Byzantine landmark that plays a central role in Monegasque religious and cultural life. The cathedral is the final resting place of several members of the Grimaldi family, including Princess Grace. You will also pass the Palais de Justice, inaugurated in 1930, and the impressive Oceanographic Museum, founded over a century ago by Prince Albert I. Guests may opt to visit the museum during free time (entrance fee applies).
The tour concludes in Monte Carlo, the symbol of luxury and elegance. Discover the legendary Monte-Carlo Casino, designed by renowned architect Charles Garnier, and admire the iconic Hotel de Paris, both cornerstones of Monaco’s glamorous reputation. Enjoy free time to explore the area, take photos, or soak in the refined atmosphere before your return journey along the coast.
