THIS IS A PRIVATE FULL DAY TOUR
Your driver guide will enlighten you with fascinating stories about the Viking Age in this full day tour to the ancient capital of Roskilde. You will learn how they lived and get an insight into their craftsmanship.
Roskilde used to be capital of Denmark until 1443 and its Gothic Cathedral which contains 39 tombs of Danish monarchs, is listed in the UNESCO Heritage making it a popular destination for viking lovers. The Cathedral is also the final resting place for 28 kings and 18 queens of Denmark.
You will explore at your own leisure this fabulous city with the possibility to discover more about the Viking Era in its Viking Ship Museum, another major attraction in the country. This museum is now home to 5 well-preserved vessels excavated a few kilometers north of the city in the fjords that were once used to travel to lands far away.
At the end of your tour, you will be taken back to the port plenty of time in advance before your ships departure.
