If you are looking for a unique experience - this is it! A sidecar is a motorcycle with a car attached to it; making it a tricycle, and can take up to three persons, two on the bike and one in the cart.

You won't be doing the driving but 1 or 2 persons can book a sidecar, where you sit back and enjoy the views! Your licsensed driver guide meets you at your cruise port and starting in Funchal, hop into your vintage sidecar, helmets on, you are ready to start your journey and head to the West!

Madeira is an island known for it's dramatic landscape, and winding roads and you will experience this during your tour. This tour is the best to capture those memorable photos, with your camera at the ready, settle into your sidecar and get ready for an unforgettable tour.

The Western roads of the island are historic, your driver knows the best viewpoints to take in stunning coastal views and the best of this side of the island. Expect to drive by charming villages and take the roads off the beaten path for an authentic adventure, and discover the beauty behind these old roads that used to connect the towns of the west.

The landscapes are breathtaking and your tour highlight simply may be your visit to Cabo Girão. Brace yourself to see one of the highest cliffs in Europe! Stepping onto the viewing platform, the endless views make wonderful backdrops for your photos.

From here you make a stop at at Ribeira Brava, sitting on the coast, you will enjoy the easy pace of life of the town and discover its historic streets and seaviews.

Throughout your tour, your driver will communicate with you during the trip via a wireless device in your helmet, so you will not miss any interesting fact or attraction during your ride. This tour is designed to allow you to enjoy the landscape, scenery and photo opportunities and can be personalized, if there is a photo stop that you must-do during your tour, simply let your driver know.

Having enjoyed the beauty of the South West in your open air sidecar, you return journey takes you back to your cruise port.

Considerations

Hotel guests for Funchal, Caniço and Câmara de Lobos pick up points to be arranged at the time of booking.
