An experienced guide or an audio guide will share all the information about Geiranger and the UNESCO World Heritage area as you depart the beautiful village of Geiranger. Your tour is suitable for all ages and will capture four well-known highlights on this exciting and scenic adventure. First, Flydalsjuvet is one of Norway's most photographed viewpoints; you will be mesmerized by the scenery.
Get ready to see the spectacular Djupvatn lake, sitting at an altitude of 1030 meters above sea level and at least 90 meters deep. The lake is typically covered with ice; depending on the temperature and season, this usually melts around mid of June or July. The views will surely take your breath away. From here, at the top of the famous mountain Dalsnibba at an altitude of 1500 m above sea level, this majestic mountain with the highest fjord view from a road. You really will feel you are on top of the world. It is located at the end of the Geiranger valley, approx. 22 kilometers south of the village of Geiranger and the Geirangerfjorden.
You will then experience the drive through 11 hairpin bends, as the serpentine road ascends all the way to the spectacular Eagle Bend, experiencing great views of the Geiranger village, the Geirangerfjord, and the Seven Sisters Waterfall. Finally, your tour returns to Gerianger and, with it, your lifelong memories!
