Your guide welcomes you at your cruise port, ready for a full day to discover the best of the Scottish Highlands.
Settle into your comfortable and luxury transport, accompanied by your knowledgeable driver/guide.
Your first stop takes you to the ancient 15th century Cawdor Castle. A spectacular sight in the region of Nairnshire, surrounded by sweeping gardens - have your cameras ready!
You will have time to enjoy exploring the castle (tickets are not included) and the surroundings, taking in the incredible architecture and hear about the legends that accompany this attraction.
From there, travel onwards to Inverness, the norths capital city, where you will have over an hour to discover. The River Ness flows through the city and you may enjoy a riverside walk, do some souvenir shopping or find a local restaurant for lunch.
You may even catch a view of the Inverness Castle before boarding your transport for a visit to the must-see - Loch Ness. Well known for the legendary Loch Ness Monster - Nessie, there is time for a short photo and refreshment stop.
Leaving the Loch behind, continue on to the small highland town of Beauly. Learn about the history of the town, the River Beauly and why the towns name is translated to 'beautiful place'. Perfect for a photo opportunity before traveling on to your final stop in the heart of the Black Isle.
Glen Ord Distillery is home to Singleton Whiskey. Discover all about this regions single malt whiskey, as you experience a tour of the distillery (tickets are not included). Complete with a tasting of the Singleton of Glen Ord 12 year old whiskey and appreciate first hand this unique spirit!
Your transport will be waiting for your return drive to Invergordon cruise port, with plenty of time for your cruise ship's departure.
