This walking tour will take you from the cruise pier to many wonderous and famous sites of Liverpool and sicovering all about the famous Fab Four - The Beatles!
Once you have met with your guide the tour will start with the famous iconic statue of the Beatles, situated at the Pier Head, standing in pride of place. Here we will stop and have photo opportunities whilst your guide will be giving you as much musical information as you can take before continuing on to learn more about this historical city.
Make way for the famous Royal Albert Dock, where the Bill Fury statue is located with the admirable Mersey waterfront in the background. Stroll around the dock taking in the wonderful surroundings whilst listening to the wonderful stories your guide has to tell.
Your guide will then continue to Whitechapel, where we will find Hessys Music Shop (a popular place for each member of the band to visit) and the infamous White Star Pub where the Beatles used to meet before they were famous.
The tour will then continue to Derby Square, which is the site of the former Liverpool castle, here you will find a large neo-baroque monument to Queen Victoria. Continuing the walking tour to Castle Street home to Liverpools 18th-century town hall and a bronze statue of Lord Nelson, not only that, Derby Square was the site of a very famous Beatles photo shoot.
Another famous street which is next on the list is Matthew Street - a Mecca for all Beatles fans, here you will find the Hard Days Night Hotel, the Cavern Club, the wall of fame and the Beatles tributes. If you are a big Beatles or music fan you will find this inspiring.
The final visit will be Stanley Street, here you will find the statue of Eleanor Rigby, a famous song by the fab four from one of their earlier albums (Revolver) in 1966.
At the end of the walking tour, your guide will escort you back to the cruise pier in plenty of time for your cruise ships departure, or you can continue some free time in Liverpool if you wish.
Ending the tour with some fantastic memories whilst singing along to the many Beatles songs of the day!
