With the help of a "pizzaiolo" you can make the pizza following all the steps, from making the dough to baking in an electric oven. This is more than a demonstration on how to prepare the Neapolitan pizza but some secrets will also be revealed: which flour is good to use, which kind of yeast, how long the dough must rest, how it must be spread, which tomato to use, when the oil is poured and so forth. So much to discover to make the perfect pizza!
Moreover, the interesting history of this unique dish will be described: in the late 1800s, Raffaele Esposito was called to make a pizza for the visit of King Umberto and Queen Margherita of Italy. During this tasting test, Queen Margherita liked the pizza garnished with tomatoes, mozzarella and basil, to represent the national colours of Italy as on the Flag of Italy.
You will also experience the preparation of tiramisu, the most iconic Italian dessert!
Having learned all the secrets and steps to cook the Italian dish per excellence - one of the most famous dishes in the world. The final step is the best, enjoy tasting your pizza and find out if you can become an experienced “pizzaiolo”!
