Your guide welcomes you at the cruise gate where you will board your bus and settle in for the journey to Rand/Hopland. This is around a 25 minute journey, and comfortable walking shoes and your camera are a must on this tour.
The river is a long stretch of waterfalls and gorges around it, and twists and this is where the waterfalls unusual name, comes from. It is well known as the only waterfall where people and animals can pass underneath a waterfall, in Northern Europe!
Come and see for yourself as you walk the easily accessible road to Tvinnefossen, expect incredible views across the beautiful Nordfjord, and of course memorable photo stops! This really is an experience like no other, and one not to be missed!
Under the waterfall, the road continues down to the fjord, the region is known for good farmland perfect grazing for the animals of the land. Local farmers maximized the abundance of the region picking fruit, nuts, and made ropes from locally sourced linden trees and made barrel bands from hazel forest.
There is plenty of time to discover this area on our own and the walk itself is 1.2 km to reach the waterfall. At the end of your walk you will board your bus for your return journey back to the cruise port.

Please arrive at your meeting point 15 minutes before the start time for an on-time departure.

Guests make their own way to the meeting point, which is a 50 meters walk from the cruise dock.
