This is an adventure discovering the Puffins of Iceland!
This wonderful boat trip will take you to the breath taking Reykjavik coast line, in search of the star if the show - the puffins! Setting sail from the Old Harbour, sailing toward the nesting grounds in Faxafloi Bay.
Be prepared to see thousands of these magnificent birds, in action just a few minutes from the City. The small stable boat is designed to get as close as possible to the islands without disturbing the birds. This tour is ideal for those who like nature and bird watching, because not only will you see the puffins, but other seabirds too, such as the Elder Ducks, Artic Terns, Guillemots and Cormorants.
During the summer months, the islands of Akurey, Engey and Lundey come alive with puffin activity. You’ll see them nesting, diving for fish, or flapping their small wings in charming bursts of flight. With binoculars provided onboard and an open deck for viewing, this tour is a great opportunity to snap memorable photos of Iceland’s cutest residents.
The calm waters and short sailing time make this the perfect mini-adventure from Reykjavík, with bonus views of the city's skyline and nearby landmarks as you cruise back to shore.

Dress warmly with layers for a northern ocean, with wool and fleece sweaters preferred.

We suggest a hat or something to keep your head warm, along with gloves. Sturdy, waterproof shoes are always recommended.

Overalls, gloves, goggles, and any necessary safety equipment will be supplied by the operator.

You will still need your own layer of warmth underneath.
