This relaxing and inspiring excursion combines scenic sightseeing with a guided painting activity, allowing visitors to experience the island through both art and nature.
Departing from the cruise terminal in Roseau, guests will enjoy a scenic drive through the city, including a pass through the lush Dominica Botanic Gardens, one of the island’s most historic green spaces and home to a rich variety of tropical plants.
The journey continues to Morne Bruce, where guests will pause to take in spectacular panoramic views of Roseau, the Caribbean Sea, and the island’s mountainous landscape. The experience then proceeds to the Morne Bruce Pastoral Centre, where participants will take part in a guided canvas painting session in a peaceful and scenic environment. Assisted by a local instructor, guests can select from a variety of iconic Dominican themes and natural attractions to paint, including tropical birds, waterfalls, rainforest scenery, cultural symbols, and island landscapes. All painting materials are provided, and the activity is designed to be enjoyable for both beginners and experienced artists.
