Overview
As you disembark your tender, your professional English-speaking guide will be waiting to accompany you on a wonderful sailing to the Neptune's Caves. A very famous landmark of the area and visited by many tourists throughout the year.
Although the boat will be shared with other tourists, you will have your own private tour guide to give you an explanation and history of how these caves came to be. The journey will take you to the peninsula of Capo Caccia, where we will find the entrance to the Caves; only a meter above sea level. Once you enter inside, your guide will be pointing out the impressive columns, the salt lake, and the incredible rock formations throughout the journey.
The length of the cave is estimated to be around 4kms, but there are only a few hundred meters that are accessible to visitors. After 40 minutes of guiding through the caves, the boat will then return back to the coast of Alghero. A truly unforgettable tour when porting in Alghero, don't forget your cameras, there are plenty of photo opportunities along the way! At the end of your memorable tour, you will return to your cruise ship.
