Overview
At the port of Palermo, meet up with your English speaking driver guide and we will commence the drive to Monte Pellegrino, which is approximately 30 minutes (dependent on traffic).
This delightful half day tour introduces first to Monte Pellegrino, a nature reserve, and a wonderful tourist attraction. Nestled in the shade of Monte Pellegrino, the locals take advantage of the nature park that encircles the mountain, a beautiful green escape! Santa Rosalia (the Patron Saint of the City), her sanctuary a church and pilgrimage site is situated at the top of the mountain.
The tour will then continue to the town of Mondello, a hamlet and another popular tourist resort. You will soon discover why, as it is located only a few kilometers from Palermo, between Monte Pellegrino and Monte Gallo. Boasting a beautiful wide beach, which is one of the most popular beaches of the area.
Here you will enjoy some free time, exploring this vibrant town and maybe souvenir shop or stop in one of the many cafes for a coffee before heading back to the port of Palermo.
