Your half-day tour of Monserrat will take you on a tour of Mount Montserrat, passing various picturesque villages. At a height of 4,051 feet, Montserrat is a majestic sight. Here you can explore the various cultural hotspots, including The Royal Basilica, which has housed the famous 12th-century carving of Virgin Moreneta (the Black Virgin), where you may be fortunate enough to witness the childrens choir sing while youre there, they also called LEscolania. They are renowned around the world for the high standard of music that they produce.

During your trip to Montserrat, chances are that you will want to see the Boys Choir perform. Even if you are not a religious person, it is worth trying to see them sing - you will have the unique opportunity of seeing performances from some of the most talented young voices in Spain. (not available on Saturday and holidays or when they are on tour)

The royal basilica has been one of the most important pilgrimage sites in Spain for centuries.

At the end of the tour, we will take you back to the cruise port in plenty of time for your cruise ships departure. Or your hotel if you are staying in the city.
