For some of you fishing isnt anything more than a brief memory of your Snoopy fishing pole and a can of corn as bait. For others it is one of your favorite hobbies and the perfect reason to get up for an early morning. Either way, no matter if you are a novice or a seasoned veteran, most people will agree that Alaska is home to some of the best fishing in the world.
With everything you need already prepared, your local captain will take you to the best fishing spots off the shores of Icy Strait. This is the perfect opportunity to live the authentic Alaskan fishing experience. Grab a pole!

Considerations

Hotel or Airbnb guests make your own way to your meeting location. Specific instructions will appear on your voucher.

All guests to check in 15 minutes early to ensure an on-time departure.

Cruise guests docking at the Adventure Dock, allow 5/10 minutes to walk to your meeting location.

Cruise guests docking at the Wilderness Dock, allow 15/20 minutes to walk, or pay to ride the Gondola to your meeting location.

The minimum age to participate is 12 years old or approved by the Captain.

The bag and possession limit for halibut is one per person. The fish must measure 40†or less or 80†or more. You may catch and release up to the point that a fish is retained. At that point, you have caught your limit and are done fishing halibut for the day.

Up to 6 guests can be in the water at one time.

Bring cash for each guests fishing license ($15 USD each) on the day and/or any additional purchases.

Gratuities/Tips are not included in your tour, if you would like to leave a tip, please bring cash.

Dress for the weather, wear comfortable layers and bring rain gear if needed.

Wear sunglasses and sunhat.

Bring your fully charged waterproof camera, to capture wonderful memories on the day.

Fish can be processed and shipped home for US guests only at your expense and will be discussed with the fishing captain on the day of the tour.

This program fills up very fast so we recommend you book as early as possible.

Each guest over the age of 16 is required to purchase a $15 USD fishing license. You will pay these fees directly to the boat captain in cash.
