Fast Boat Ride in Alaskas Inside Passage

Your guide meets you at the cruise dock ready to take you for a thrilling half day adventure!

Many Ketchikan boat tours allow you to just ride along, on this tour you will have the opportunity to drive your own inflatable fast boat! You are part of a small group of up to three inflatable fast boats, up to 4 guests per boat, that follow your guide boat through the jagged coastline islands of Southeast Alaska! Once you are geared up (waterproof bibs, rain jackets, gloves, and boots are provided) and have your instructions your guide will lead the way on this thrilling adventure.
Your guide will introduce you to a bald eagles nest, and explore the protected waters of Clover Pass with you seeking out resident seals and sea lions, an immense array of intertidal creatures such as sea stars and hopefully, everyone’s favorite, feeding humpback whales! Wildlife is never guaranteed, however, your guide knows the best spots in the area!

Clover Pass features calmer waters and often better weather than tours running in downtown Ketchikan so we love getting you out of town and away from the crowds. That said, you’ll be exploring the Tongass National Forest, it’s the second largest rainforest in the world after the Amazon, so we do get our fair share of rain. We have you covered though!

After returning to our gazebo at the Salmon Falls Resort, enjoy smoked salmon, warm crab and brie, fresh baked bread with hummus, crackers veggies with a complimentary Alaskan beer or a nice hot chocolate! This is simply the best way to enjoy your time ashore in the wilderness, and you will return to your cruise port at the end of your tour.
