JUNEAU CRUISE PORT
Your 3 hour long Mendenhall Glacier Tour by Shuttle tour includes the following:
• Round trip transportation from Mt. Roberts Tram
• English speaking guide/driver
• Mendenhall Glacier Visitor Center entrance
• Up to 2 hours at the Mendenhall Glacier
• Sightseeing of Juneau
As your tour begins, you will board your shuttle and enjoy a narrated trip through downtown Juneau to the Tongass National Forest.
Take in the beautiful scenery as you depart the capital of Alaska, only accessible by air or sea, and head towards the remarkable Mendenhall Glacier, which is 13 miles long from its origin on the Juneau Icefield to its terminus at Mendenhall Lake.
Your visit here will be 2 hours long, and your time at the glacier is self-guided. Enjoy the grounds as you wish, take in the views, and capture those all-important photos!
At certain times of the year, you may be lucky to see bears catching fish in the stream from an overlook point to one side of the entrance to the glacier. If you feel more adventurous and time permits, you can enjoy the easy walk, 0.8 miles each way to Nugget Falls, a beautiful waterfall, and take in the sights and, of course, more pictures.
You will have time to enjoy the Mendenhall Glacier Visitor Center, which offers information on the glacier, the surrounding landscape, and the wildlife of the region.
After spending a memorable time exploring the park at your own pace, your driver/guide returns to pick you up and continues to share stories of the area for your return transfer to your meeting point.

SKAGWAY CRUISE PORT
Your 2.75-hour long White Pass Summit and City Tour includes:
• Round trip transportation from the cruise pier
• English speaking guide
• Round trip journey by mini-bus from Skagway
• Summit and City tour with scenic stops
• Welcome to Alaska sign at White Pass Summit
• Historic Gold Rush Cemetery
• Skagway Scenic Overlook
• Narration by guide about history and nature
The narrated drive up the gorgeous Klondike Highway parallels much of the Gold Rush Trail of 1898 where stampeders struggled to climb carrying their ton of goods during winter snows. Along the route are spectacular vistas of steep mountains of coastal rainforest and historical stops, including Brackett Wagon Road, Pitchfork Falls, Moore Creek Bridge, and views of the WP&YR railroad. Breathe in the fresh mountain air and watch for wildlife.
Upon cresting the White Pass Summit (3292 feet, 1003 meters), take in views of the sub-arctic alpine tundra of the "Tormented" Valley, with its crystal blue Summit Lake and snowcapped mountains. At the US/Canadian border, have a photo opportunity with the Welcome to Alaska sign!
Our return trip takes us the Skagway Scenic Overlook, which offers a panoramic view of the entire town, harbor and cruise ships. Also included are the historic downtown (part of the Klondike Gold Rush National Historical Park) and the Gold Rush Cemetery to visit our infamous outlaw, Soapy Smith, and hear tales of the early pioneers. Your guide will bring the Gold Rush to life with many stories of the history of the era.

KETCHIKAN CRUISE PORT
Your 2.5-hour long Potlatch Totem Park, Alaskan Wildlife and Ketchikan Highlights Bus Tour includes:
• Round trip transportation from downtown Ketchikan
• English speaking guide
• Fully narrated tour by experienced guide
• City tour of Ketchikan
• Exploration of Potlatch Park
• Free admission to the Museum
• Herring Bay for wildlife viewing
• Time for shopping
A short walk to meet your guide, this tour heads out of town, giving you the chance to see more of beautiful Revillagigedo Island, on which Ketchikan is located.
Settle in and enjoy the drive along the scenic road to Potlatch Totem Park, you'll hear the history of Ketchikan, including its fishing and logging past and see the old pulp mill and cannery. Upon arriving at Potlatch Totem Park, you will feel like you have stepped back in time. Built on the former fishing grounds of the native Tlingit peoples, this park depicts what a native fishing village in the 1800s would have looked like. The two large clan houses are surrounded by four smaller clan houses, all filled with elaborate carvings, both inside and out.
In the totem carving shed, you'll learn the significance of these cultural works of art and watch one of the carvers in action. You'll hear about the poles design, carving, and painting process and even smell the fresh cedar scent given off by shavings. Your tour includes admission to the Museum, with interesting displays of antique cars, firearms, and other curiosities.
From here you continue on a coastal road, heading farther out of town and away from the crowds to quaint Herring Bay. This small inlet cove provides the perfect habitat for Ketchikan's wildlife to thrive. During salmon season, you'll often spot black bears, eagles, herons, and seals. See the salmon just a few feet away as they fight their way upstream from June through September.
You'll check out the highlights of the charming town of Ketchikan. As you make your way around the city, you'll drive past the cannery, some of the residential areas and the waterfront, including Creek Street, the former historic Red Light district. You can choose to end your tour here to do some shopping or continue the ride to the downtown area to return to your cruise ship.
