The beautiful Barron Gorge National Park is known for its rugged rainforest mountains, steep ravines, Barron Falls and the Barron Gorge, providing the perfect setting for this exhilarating rafting adventure.
Before boarding your raft, you’ll be fitted with all the gear needed for a fun, safe ride. The diverse topography provides a delightful combination of experiences.
From calm water, where you’ll have time to admire the scenery, to a series of white-water rapids produced as the Barron River snakes its way down from the mountains and heads out to the Coral Sea, you’re guaranteed a day of action and adventure.
You might encounter the adrenaline rush of up to Grade 3 rapids, which entails irregular waves, narrow channels and some manoeuvring to avoid obstacles. Your experienced guide will navigate you safely through each thrilling rapids encounter.
