Private Jeep Tour with Lunch Snorkel & Punta Sur Eco Park

Overview

The tour starts off with a drive through town until we reach the tequilera. There you can learn this drink's entire distillation process, tasting its different flavors, smells and colors! Sure to be a great time! After Tequila tour, we will explore the beautiful beaches on the east side of the Island. The other side of Cozumel, has magnificent white sand beaches, blow holes, mesmerizing rock formations, caves, secret beaches, off-road paths and much more. Your private guide will take you to explore the best sites and discover hidden beaches and caves that many tourists will never experience, There is no electricity on this side of the island, just a few scattered beach restaurants/bars that fit perfectly here. Truly a more virgin side of Cozumel.

Check-out Punta Sur Biosphere Reserve, where you will have a chance to admire the Island's flora and fauna; also learn some history of our Mayan ancestors, with one of their structures known as El Caracol. Our guides will tell you about this remarkable culture. Here there is also a lagoon with freshwater crocodiles, and other freshwater species. You can hike up a small watchtower to look over the vast lagoon. We will then drive deeper into the Eco park until we reach the Punta Sur lighthouse. Climb all the way to the top where you will be able to gaze in awe over the fantastic landscape of Colombia lagoon, and the different shades of the Mexican Caribbean Sea. Then visit as small museum on site where, you can learn about the many different species of birds and animals we have here on the island and also discover the beginnings of navigation in colonial the times;

Then we stop Tortugas Beach Club where we experience an authentic complimentary Mexican lunch that includes 1 choice of chicken, beef or fish fajitas, quesadillas, or Tacos. Drinks are not served with lunch but are available to purchase along with additional food items from the menu at the guests expense. At the beach, you will also have the chance to do some snorkeling. Your guide will issue all of the snorkel gear needed, which include masks, snorkels, fins and flotation devices. He will also demonstrate how to use the equipment before leading you into the water for a guided snorkel excursion. You'll be amazed at the tropical beauty of the coral reef system and the underwater fan coral garden.
