Overview

Your representative welcomes you and you will board your private transportation. Settle in and you will begin your tour with a scenic drive through the picturesque countryside of Chania, as you journey towards the lovely quaint Cretan Vineyard.

As you arrive, you will be greeted by a local expert who will provide you with all the knowledge about the processing of the wines, harvest to the bottling. This tradition is deeply rooted in the history of this area and this beautiful island.

Whilst you are at the Vineyard your local expert will tell you all about the wines you will taste, be amazed by the different cultural ways of the Manousakis winery vineyard, discover how the different varieties of grapes are cultivated as well as the winery itself! You will also have the opportunity to learn about the history behind the winery, from the wine to the organic cultivation philosophy that Ntourakis has.

Your tour does not end here, you will have the chance to taste the local produce of the 5 wines of Ntourakis, whilst your taste buds are tingling, have the chance to accompany your wine with some traditional nibbles, Cretan Rusks and Cretan Olives chosen to compliment the taste between the delicious wines.

As you are sampling the local produce, have the chance to take in some breathtaking views around the Vineyard of the Cretan countryside. Once the tasting of the wines has come to an end, sit back and relax as you make your way back to your cruise port.

Your return drive allows you to admire the beautiful quaint villages of Chania and your knowledgeable guide will provide commentary on the way about the history and information about this lovely island. You will then be returned to the port in plenty of time for your cruise ships departure.

Guests must be 18 years or over to taste the wine. In high season the winery may get very busy, another winery will be proposed on the day of the tour.
