Hop into the comfortable cable car for the ride up steep Mt. Srd. Be sure to stand at the back of the car for an eye-popping view of Dubrovnik’s Old Town, or Stari Grad, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the best preserved medieval towns in Europe.

At the top of the mountain, take some time to enjoy the view of the blue Adriatic Sea. On a clear day, it's said you can see 37 miles (67 km) away! Take 20 minutes to be awestruck by the views and then head down to the Old Town, for the next portion of the tour.

Discover the rich and exotic historical tradition of Dubrovnik as you take a guided walk along the Stradun where you will see impressive Byzantine and Gothic structures and extensive collections of Renaissance art in the Dominican Monastery Your guided tour will begin with a visit to Park Orsula. Located just minutes from the heart of the city, Park Orsula offers panoramic views of Dubrovnik and its city walls. T

The walls run almost 2 km around the city, with a system of turrets and towers which were intended to protect the city - the walls are a popular filming site for the well known TV show, Game of Thrones. Your walk continues into the old town where you can stroll along Stradun Street. The limestone-paved pedestrian street runs some 300 meters through the Old Town.

Stradun became the main street during the 13th century after a devastating earthquake hit the city. Many of the houses were rebuilt to line the street giving it its much uniformed appearance.

Whilst on the street you will see some of Dubrovnik’s most famous landmarks including the Sponza Palace and Onofriou’s Fountain. Your final stop will be the famous Dominican Monastery where you will have the chance to explore the grand building and see the impressive collections of Renaissance painting, and gold and silver artifacts. The monastery is located at the eastern part of the city. The monastery was established around 1225 but the actual building of the monastery and church was only completed in the 14th century.

Your tour will end back in the heart of the city, where you will have free time for shopping or exploring the city walls on your own. Dubrovnik is a fascinating city full of history and culture and is a must see during your cruise.
