You will be met at the port of Kusadasi.

With so much to see in Ephesus and the surrounding area, you need a tour that takes in all the sights, but still leaves room for a leisurely lunch in beautiful surroundings.

Starting out in Ephesus, you’ll get the grand tour of some of the world’s finest surviving historical buildings. There’s the Library of Celsus, built as a memorial to Gaius Julius Celsus Polemanus, the proconsul of the Province of Asia. There’s the Grand Theatre – where St Paul preached to as many as 24,000 people. There is also an opportunity of entering into the famous Terrace Houses, recently uncovered and be amazed by the rooms still intact, the pictures on the walls and also the amazing colored tiled floors, something truly not to be missed! And of course, there’s the Temple of Artemis too.

Before you get to the Temple though, there’s a little more to discover beyond Ephesus. Out in the country, you’ll discover the House of the Virgin Mary – revered site with fascinating stories attached. Your personal Guide will fill you in on everything you need to know.

Next, it’s time to visit the Artemis Temple. Once one of the wonders of the world, the Temple no longer stands, but its legacy – and the remnants left behind – offer a tantalizing glimpse of the past. Again, just ask your Guide to fill in the blanks.

There’s one final treat in store. A visit to the mountain village of Sirince. Up here, among the fruit trees, churches and winding roads is a little oasis of calm. A perfect place for a relaxed lunch and a glass of the local fruity wine.

There’ll still be time to explore too. Sirince is a fascinating fusion of Greek and Turkish and there’s lots to discover here. So grab the chance.

At the end of the tour you will be taken back to the port of Kusadasi in plenty of time for your cruise ships departure.
