Overview

The beautiful Mediterranean island of Cyprus is renowned for its splendid beaches, rich and eventful history dating back to the 10th millennium B.C., numerous archaeological treasures, wonderfully varied scenery, and unbroken summer sunshine.

Your entertaining tour begins with a visit to the largest man-made dam in Cyprus.
During its construction, the entire village of Alassa was relocated to a nearby location overlooking the new reservoir.
This impressive dam forms part of the Southern Conveyor Project, designed to carry water from the southwest to the southeast of the island over a distance of 120 km.

Our journey continues to the village of Lofou, named after the hilly landscape that surrounds it like a natural amphitheatre.
While the exact date of its founding is unknown, it is believed that the first inhabitants settled here during the Arab raids of the 7th century.

We then travel by jeep to one of the island’s natural wonders, the beautiful Millomeri Waterfalls, reached after a short, pleasant walk.
Be sure to have your camera ready to capture this picturesque spot for your album back home.

The tour then takes you off-road through the dense pine forests of the stunning Troodos Mountains, leading you deep into the heart of Cyprus' natural beauty.
Our final stop is the charming village of Lania, one of the country’s main wine-producing centres.
According to tradition, Lania was named after Lana, daughter of Dionysos, the Greek god of wine and pleasure.
Notable sights include the old wine press, the Commandaria Storage Museum, and a traditional olive press.

A relaxing drive back to Limassol port and your ship brings this memorable tour to a perfect and peaceful close.

Each land rover can accommodate up to 8 passengers, but we recommend no more than 6 or 7 pax per land rover for additional comfort.
Seating inside land rover: One pax facing the front next to driver, up to three pax on the second row seat facing the front of the vehicle, up to 4 pax (2 on each side) on 2 rows facing each other/ the sides of the vehicle in the back
Passengers will have to sign a safety brief before the start of this tour
It is recommended to take sun cream and a sun hat, as at times on this excursion it can get un-seasonably hot. It is also recommended to drink plenty of water. Please wear comfortable footwear for this excursion as there is some walking on uneven ground, inclines and steps.
Also please don't forget your fully charged camera, as we don't want you to miss out on some wonderful memories
