Overview
Your tour will commence with a scenic journey to Oia, admiring the panoramic view of the Aegean Sea and the neighboring islands along the way. Oia enjoys a hilltop location which offers breath taking views across the Gulf of Santorini. This beautiful village with its narrow streets, traditional white churches and blue domes provides a picture-postcard vision of the Greek islands.
The tour will stop in Oia for you to enjoy the surroundings, do a little souvenir shopping and have lunch if you wish. Your professional escort will be on hand to recommend the best taverns/restaurants to dine.
You will then be taken to the archaeological site of Akrotiri to discover the current excavation of this historical gem. You will be given a guided tour of the excavation by your guide.
After your tour, you will be dropped off in the town of Fira, where you can take the Cable car back down to your tender boat at your leisure. The cable cars are busy, it's recommended you allow plenty of time to queue and take your tender boat back to your ship.

This port of call is a tender port. You may need to reserve a ticket onboard your ship to go ashore - check with your cruise line. Please allow enough time to take the tender boat ashore on the day of the tour, to arrive on time for your tour departure.

If you are spending extra time in the town of Fira after the tour, it will be your responsibility to get to your tender on time, the cable get very busy and there may be a long queue especially if there is more than one cruise ship docking.

The cost of the cable car is not included in the price of this tour. Tickets are about 10 Euro per guest, each way (this is an approximate cost only and is subject to change).

Each cable car takes a maximum of 6 guests and there are two trains of 6 cable cars running throughout the day.
