Tour to Oia and Wine Tasting

Overview

You make your own way up the cable car and as you reach the top, your tour starts from the cable car of Fira, with your bus pick up after 5 minutes walking - the traditional alleys are not accessible by car.

Your first stop is Oia, where you will enjoy free time, for about an hour, for walking around and shopping. Oia enjoys a hilltop location which offers breath taking views across the Gulf of Santorini. You can enjoy the surroundings, do a little souvenir shopping and take lunch (at your own expense) if you wish. Your professional escort will be on hand to recommend the best taverns and restaurants to dine.

After Oia you will travel to a traditional Santorinian winery for some wine tasting. This will last for approximately 45 -60 minutes.

The tasting of the wine will be for adults over the age of 18 years only, children will not be allowed to participate.

After your delicious wine tasting, you return to Fira where your group is led by your escort back to the cable car. If there is enough time until the departure of the cruise ship, suggestions will be given on how your group can spend their free time in Fira before taking the cable car to the Old Port.

Your ship will be tendering to the old port of Fira, here you will have to take the cable car to reach the meeting point of the escort. The cable cars can get extremely busy so please allow plenty of time to get to these cars. The cable cars charge 6 euros per person per way. Each cable car will take a maximum of 6 people in each, the train has a total of 6 cars and there are 2 trains running throughout the day. If there are more than 2 cruise ships in port this service can get extremely busy.
