Leaving the port we will pass by the University town of La Laguna, then continuing through the Esperanza Forest, where we stop to admire the fauna and flora of the area. As we continue our tour the beautiful green backdrops gradually turn to grey, reds and blue – a sign that we are approaching the volcanic area, with the stunning Mount Teide, towering at 3718 meters taking centre stage. As we navigate through the winding roads, we're treated to breathtaking views over the island of Tenerife, at times feeling as though we're driving through the clouds themselves.

It isn't possible to visit the top of Mount Teide by cable car due to tour timings. Also, unfortunately you will not get to see the Laguna, as there isn't enough time on this half day tour
