Your private tour starts in Akureyri and continues north, along the coastline, to Laufás Turf Houses and Museum. Here you will experience the Icelandic cultural heritage of the past and get insights into the life of Icelanders from a time not so long ago. You will also see the unique herringbone pattern of the turf bricks.

After visiting Laufás Turf Houses and Museum, continue your drive to the mighty Goðafoss Waterfall, where there will be rich opportunities to capture the power of the Skjálfandafljót glacier river. Goðafoss translates to the waterfall of the gods, which is a fitting name.
The last stop on the way back to Akureyri is the Forrest Lagoon, this is a heated by natural geothermal water sourced from the mountains. You will have time to experience the waters, after all the natural water is said to have healing powers!
