Carefully designed for cruise guests, leaving Colombo port behind your scenic drive begins at Handunugoda Tea Estate -the only tea plantation near the sea!

Here you will discover the area well known for producing highly priced virgin white tea, enjoy a tour of the factory, see the tea-making tradition of Sri Lanka while touring the and taste a fresh brew.

From here you continue along the south coast for a memorable stop at Koggala. Here you will watch one of the most incredible sights the stilt fishermen. Expertly balanced on slender posts, above the water, admire this ancient tradition.

A tasty lunch stop awaits before your journey onto Galle Fort, this is a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. This is an impressive site and is well preserved, dating all the way back to the 16th century proudly representing it's colonial history.

Along the cobbled paths, discover a variety of cafés, galleries and more hidden within its walls. Enjoy immersing yourself in its history and the breathtaking views - a truly memorable experience.

From here board your transport for your return drive to Colombo cruise port, with plenty of time for your ships departure.
