Overview
This popular full-day tour of Athens allows you to see all of the famous sights and also allows time to shop in the very popular shopping area situated in the center of this magnificent city.
This tour includes an overview of the modern city as well as viewing the striking contrasts with the past.
The first stop of the tour will be the Acropolis, one of the most famous and popular sites in Athens. If you wish to purchase entrance tickets to the Acropolis or the Acropolis Museum this can be done locally or we can arrange this, please notify us immediately upon booking. The tour will then proceed to Constitution Square, the Parliament building protected by the guards and where you will see the fascinating changing of the guard which happens every hour.
The tour will then allow 2 hours free time to explore the center of Athens and its main shopping area and of course PLAKA.
After lunch, the tour will commence the sightseeing adventure, including The Panathenaic Stadium which was the original site of the first modern Olympics in 1896.
