Full Day Tour of Beautiful Barcelona

Overview

Leaving the port, you will drive to Montjuïc where you will have 15 minutes to admire the amazing views of the city and take some photos.

Your next stop will be Plaza Catalunya where you will start your walking tour. From Plaza Catalunya you will walk down Las Ramblas and onto Placita de la Seu to see the beautiful cathedral. A 5-minute walk from the cathedral along the famous “Carrer del Bisbe” will take you to Plaza Sant Jaume, home to the magnificent town hall building - El Ajuntament de Catalunya. Here starts “El Barrio Gótico” and pretty much any and every street leading off Plaza Sant Jaume forms part of the gothic quarter. From here you will have approx. 1-hour free time.

Once you have met back at the coach you will head towards the infamous Sagrada Familia, passing along Passeig de Gràcia in order to admire the Casa Milà “La Pedrera” on the way.

Casa Milà aka La Pedrera was built by Antoni Gaudí between 1905 and 1910 and was officially considered completed in 1912.

At the Sagrada Familia, you will be given 30 minutes to have a look around the outside of the building and to take photos. Those wanting to visit the inside of the cathedral can do so but time may be limited here. Don’t forget to look at the amazing view of Montjuïc from Parc Güell where you will have been earlier on in the day.

The final stop will be Tibidabo – A mountain standing 512 meters tall overlooking Barcelona and offering breathtaking views of the city and coastline. Tibidabo has a theme park, church (Temple de Sagrat Cor), and a telecommunications tower.

At the end of the tour, you'll be taken to Barcelona cruise port in plenty of time for your ship's departure time.
