Enjoy an introduction to the real Sicily exploring the towns of Savoca and Forza D'Agro with your local driver, who so proudly call these area's home.
This tour works well for both cruise and hotel guests.
Starting from your shore and with a leisurely drive, your first visit takes you to the medieval charming village of Savoca. Here you will take a walk on the panoramic promenade to the famous church of Sant'Nicolò or better called Santa Lucia, which was used in the Godfather movie for the marriage of Al Pacino and Apollonia. You will also visit the rest of the town, with other churches and the famous "VITELLI" bar, one of Coppola's favorite spots. A taste of lemon Granita is a must!
From here, you drive to the next charming medieval town of Castelmola (just above Taormina) to take a pleasant walk in the town.
Your last stop, takes you to the historical centre of Taormina and under our tip, you will have your own free time to explore the village, stroll the mean streets and narrow ways with picturesque corners and nice shops. Your guide can suggest a good local place to let you have something to eat and when you are ready to leave, your driver will be waiting in Taormina, and will drive you back to your ship.
