Your Venture Ashore representative picks you up at your hotel and you settle in to your private transportation, ready for a wonderful half-day in Florence!

Stop and start as you like or use your driver for their knowledge of the area, and is able to create the best itinerary for you based on your preferences.

Your English-speaking driver is able to give a general guideline and history of places and all major monuments while you are in the car. Any special requests such as dining at a specific restaurant, please let us know at the time of booking and arrangements can be made for you.

If you plan to visit Accademia and/or the Uffizi Gallery, pre-arranged tickets can be purchased for you; advise at time of booking and you pay your driver in cash on the day. Last minute bookings in high season cannot be guaranteed, we do suggest booking as early as possible!

To truly maximize your time, there is an option to arrange with Venture Ashore, a licensed guide for three hours (an additional cost); so you can learn more about the beautiful city.

Whatever you choose for your time in Florence, your personalized driver will drive you to and from all the places of interests and attractions that you plan to see and drop you off at your hotel at the end of your tour.

This tour is for hotel guests staying in the city of Florence only. If you are coming in on a cruise ship, please see our offerings in LIVORNO.
On the first Sunday of each month, many tourist sites in Italy have free admission. This can often result in long lines. If you are staying at a hotel, it may be beneficial to avoid booking a tour involving inside visits to major attractions on these days.
Your English-speaking driver is unable to conduct guided visits inside museums and monuments.
Contact Venture Ashore if you would like to add a licensed guide for three hours during your tour.
Your driver can pre-reserve tickets to the Accademia and Uffizi Gallery for you. Tickets to the Accademia are about 24€ per ticket per person and to the Uffizi are about 24€ per ticket per person. You will pay this fee in cash directly to the driver at the time of the tour.
If you are making a last-minute booking, especially during the high season, we cannot guarantee that you will have tickets reserved. Pre-reserved tickets are non-refundable.
Dress for the weather and wear comfortable shoes.
Bring your sunglasses, sunscreen, sunhat, water bottle and camera.
