Overview

This guided full day tour works well for both cruise and hotel guests. Start your tour with a pick up at either your cruise port or hotel, where you will board your private transportation, settle in as you leave the city behind!

This tour will take you on a full-day journey, alongside your guide, exploring the best Portuguese royal residences with relaxing views of the Portuguese seaside.

The first stop will be in Queluz to visit the Queluz National Palace. This palace represents the extravagant life of the Portuguese royalty in the 18th century in an incredible rococo structure surrounded by beautiful gardens.

After a detailed visit to the Palace, your tour continues to the World Heritage Site of Sintra where hundreds of years of history and culture await.

During a short walk in the old city center, you'll find yourself surrounded by old houses now converted into small, quaint handicraft stores and traditional pastry shops.

Driving around the mountain, you will pass by amazing palaces, chalets and aristocratic residences in the most incredible combination of architectural styles, colors, and shapes to be found anywhere in Portugal.

Enjoy a lovely lunch (meal not included) in one of the many traditional restaurants. After browsing through hundreds of years of history it will be time to relax by driving to the town of Cascais. Once a small fishing village, the town of Cascais managed to maintain its seafaring traditions combined with the aristocratic and royal presences of the late 19th and beginning of the 20th century. Strolling its animated town center you'll find cosmopolitan life co-existing side by side with Cascais maritime past.

The return to Lisbon will follow a very special road named "Marginal" by the Portuguese. Running parallel to white sandy beaches and amazing 17th-century fortresses, this road starts in the town of Estoril, famous for its casino. At the end of your tour, you will return to your cruise ship or hotel.
