Overview

With a private pick up at your cruise port, you will board your comfortable transport.

You will visit the Chapel of Bones also known locally as Capela dos Ossos, this small unassuming chapel is the final resting place for bodies exhumed from the city's graveyards in the 16th Century.

Cathedral of Evora is one of the oldest and most important monuments in the city. This Roman Catholic Church situated with in the heart of the old city lying on the highest spot, its silhouette can be seen from far away.

The Roman Temple is one of the best preserved Roman Temples in the Iberian Peninsula and is included in the UNESCO classification. It is a wonderful well-preserved symbol of the Roman presence in Portugal.

Praça do Giraldo is in the main square of Evora. It is a charming cobbled square with some amazing Romanesque and Gothic architecture. A Baroque style fountain made from marble is found here, with its eight spouts each symbolising the main streets from and to Giraldo square.

Almendres is a pre-historic site made up of nut like stones aligned with the heavens situated among olive and cork trees. It is the most important megalithic site in Portugal.

From here you will be returned to the cruise port.
