Overview
Your Venture Ashore representative meets you at your cruise port, where you will board your private transportation.
It starts with a wonderful drive along the Croisette boulevard (the sea front at Cannes). Your first destination is the artists Mecca of Saint-Paul de Vence. Described by some as a paradise on earth, this charming old village, with its winding streets and old stone buildings, is breathtaking.
You can walk along the towns medieval walls and nip in and out of its many inviting shops and boutiques. Take the time to sample its distinctive atmosphere; explore its galleries, and revel in its charms.
Your next stop is Nice. Sit back and enjoy the ride along the scenic Promenade des Anglais. Nice is another wonderful example of a medieval French town. Built in the 13th century, it retains many period features and exudes an old world charm.
There will be time to linger here too. You can use your guidebook, or go off on an adventure of your own. Either way, do be sure to check out the beautiful market square. It is always festooned with flowers and is one of the highlights of any trip to this part of France.
A little later, you will be taken back to the cruise ship along the highway, where you can reflect on your experiences. You may well be inspired to get a little bit creative.

Eze is a medieval village situated on a hillside, there are some steep inclines and steps.

There is a lot of walking involved on this tour, wear comfortable footwear.

Bring your camera, sunscreen, sunhat, sunglasses, water bottle, and a printout of your voucher.

We will not be able to run this tour during F1 Grand Prix - 24th and 26th of May. A replacement tour of the French Riviera will be offered in place of this tour.
