Overview

You will be met at the port by a Venture Ashore representative who will take you to the start of this tour.

A jewel on the French Riviera, Cannes is known for its glitz and glamour. Jet-setters flock here for the annual Cannes Film Festival. On this tour, you will stroll along the famous Boulevard de la Croisette, lined with high-end boutiques and historic hotels. Take a moment to pause and admire the luxury yachts docked in the harbor.

You will be delighted to find that Cannes has managed to keep its warmth of welcome and its Provencale roots. This a City of the Stars may be one of the most glamorous locations in the world but it remains accessible to everyone all year round.

Monaco has four distinct sections: the Old Town, called Monaco-Ville, sits on a 60 meters high promontory. This is where the Royal Palace, the government building, and the Oceanographic Museum are located.

At the foot of the Old Town is La Condamine, the second area which forms the harbor and port district. Uphill from here is Monte Carlo, with its infamous casino and the grandest of the grand old hotels. The fourth area is the tidy industrial suburb of Fontvieille.

Despite being only a little bigger than a small city, Monaco has many visitor attractions. There are several museums, some lovely gardens, and amazing shopping areas. Of course, just being in Monaco is an attraction in itself. You never know who you will see sitting at the bar next to you or strolling along the marina.

Finally, you will go to St Saint-Nicolas in Nice. The stunning cathedral was built under the patronage of Tsar Nicolas II at the beginning of the 20th century and inaugurated on Dec. 17, 1912.

The cathedral has five, colored and highly polished onion-domed cupolas giving it a 17th-century appearance. It is a stunning example of Russian Orthodox architecture. It is also equally impressive inside where you'll see many intricate carvings and frescoes.

At the end of your tour, you will be dropped off at your cruise port.

Important notes:

During the Grand Prix and Historical Grand Prix it will not be possible to do the itinerary of the tour. In these cases, we will change the tour to St Paul de Vence, Cannes & Antibes.
During the Cannes film festival, it will not be possible to visit the Palais Des Festivales.

There is a lot of walking involved in this tour, wear comfortable footwear. Eze is a medieval village situated on a hillside, there are some steep inclines and steps.
During the Grand Prix and Historical Grand Prix it will not be possible to do the itinerary of the tour. In these cases, we will change the tour to St Paul de Vence, Cannes and Antibes. If you would like further information, please contact our Sales Team.
These tours are only suitable for wheelchairs if the guest is able to move and walk short distances (For example, on and off the coach).
